Bill of Materials

Use these Instructions for the following replacement

parts kits:

TGC25008CKBK & TGC32508CKBK Bearing Kits

TGC25008CKRK & TGC32508CKRK Seal Kits

Rod Bearing Removal, Seal Replacement,

and Installation:

(Cylinder cap removal not required.) Leakage around the

cylinder’s rod by the brass rod bearing will normally indi-

cate that the seals and possibly the rod bearing need to

be replaced.

Rod Bearing Removal:

1. Inspect the piston rod for burrs and any foreign matter

that may prevent sliding the bearing off the rod.

2. Disconnect any attachments to the piston rod and thread.

3. Lubricate rod with a small amount of the grease supplied.

4. Unscrew the rod bearing from the cap by carefully using

a pipe wrench to grip on the outside of the bearing. (Some

cosmetic damage to bearing may occur.)
